RTBF Auvio streams content over adaptive bitrate, so playback problems usually come down to bandwidth or browser state. Start by checking your connection speed — you need at least 5 Mbps for standard quality and around 15 Mbps for HD. If the video spins endlessly or freezes mid-stream, clear your browser cache and cookies, then reload. Outdated cached data often breaks the player. Also disable any browser extensions, especially ad blockers and script managers, since these frequently interfere with the video engine.
On mobile, a crash at startup usually means the installed version is outdated or the local data is corrupted. Update the Auvio app through your store, then try clearing the app cache from your device settings without fully uninstalling. If crashes continue, a clean reinstall typically resolves it.
Live content is more sensitive to connection instability than on-demand video. Run a quick ping test — anything above 80 ms with noticeable jitter will cause visible stuttering. If you're on Wi-Fi, move closer to the router or switch to a wired connection. Reducing the stream quality manually inside the player settings often stabilizes playback when the auto mode keeps overshooting available bandwidth.
This is usually a client-side rendering glitch. Reload the page without cache by pressing Ctrl+Shift+R on desktop. If search still misbehaves, the index on your end may be stale — logging out and back in forces a fresh session that often fixes it.
When preview images fail to appear in the content library, it's almost always a DNS or CDN caching issue on your network. Switching your DNS resolver to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 in your network settings resolves this more reliably than simply refreshing the page. If you're on a mobile network, toggling airplane mode for ten seconds resets the connection and clears the local DNS cache automatically.
