The Erste Bank Polska mobile app sometimes fails to start after a system update or when device storage is nearly full. Clear the app cache through your phone settings, free up at least 200 MB of space, and try again. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app from the official store — this resets corrupted local data without affecting your account.
Wrong credentials are the obvious cause, but not always the real one. Sessions can get stuck server-side, making correct passwords appear invalid. Log out completely, clear browser cookies and cached files, then try a private browsing window. If you use saved autofill data, disable it temporarily — outdated stored passwords often conflict with updated security requirements.
This usually happens when the SMS authorization code doesn't arrive or arrives too late. Check your signal strength first — a weak connection causes delivery delays. If the message never comes, verify that your registered phone number hasn't changed in the system. Restarting your phone refreshes the carrier connection and often resolves stuck SMS delivery.
When the service returns server errors or shows a maintenance screen, the issue is on the infrastructure side. Wait 10–15 minutes and retry. Avoid repeatedly submitting the same payment form — duplicate requests can create pending transactions that require manual cancellation later.
Heavy load during peak hours slows down the web interface noticeably. If pages take more than 15 seconds to respond, switch to the mobile app, which typically handles congestion better due to lighter data requests. Also check your own connection — run a speed test to confirm your internet isn't the bottleneck.
