Kraken Won't Load at All

Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try a hard reload. If the site still won't open, check whether the issue is isolated to one browser — switch to another or test on a different device. DNS hiccups can block access too; switching to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 often resolves it faster than waiting for your ISP to sort itself out.

Login Fails Despite Correct Credentials

Two-factor authentication is the most common culprit here. If the one-time code keeps getting rejected, the problem is usually a time sync issue on your phone. Open your authenticator app settings and force a time sync. Also confirm that your device clock is set to automatic. If you're locked out entirely, use the account recovery flow from the login page.

Trades and Orders Not Going Through

This usually comes down to one of a few things:

• The order form may be pre-filled with stale price data — refresh the page before submitting
• Insufficient available balance after fees; check that your free balance covers both the trade amount and the fee
• Account verification may be incomplete, which silently blocks certain order types
• Browser extensions like ad blockers can interfere with the trading interface — disable them temporarily

Deposit or Withdrawal Stuck Pending

Crypto transfers pending for over an hour are typically waiting on network confirmations. Check the transaction hash on a block explorer to see its current confirmation count. For fiat withdrawals, processing windows vary by payment method — bank transfers can take 1–3 business days. If a deposit never appears and the blockchain shows it confirmed, contact support with the transaction hash ready.

Kraken App Freezing or Crashing

Force-close the app and reopen it. If crashes persist, clear the app cache from your device settings. Make sure you're on the latest app version — older builds sometimes break after backend updates. If the app keeps hanging on the portfolio screen specifically, log out fully and log back in to force a fresh data load.

Price Charts Failing to Display

• Disable any script-blocking extensions in your browser
• Try switching the chart type or timeframe, which can trigger a fresh data request
• If charts load on mobile but not desktop, the issue is likely a browser setting or extension conflict

Slow Response and High Latency

During high market volatility, the platform can get sluggish. Wired connections outperform Wi-Fi noticeably here. If ping stays high consistently, run a traceroute to identify where the delay is introduced — it's often a router or ISP hop rather than the server itself.
