Video Stutters or Refuses to Load

Buffering issues on TF1+ almost always come down to bandwidth. The platform streams in adaptive quality, but it still needs a stable minimum — roughly 5 Mbps for HD content. Run a quick speed test and check whether other devices on the same network are eating up bandwidth. Restarting your router and switching from Wi-Fi to a wired connection often clears the problem immediately. If you're on mobile, moving to a stronger signal area or toggling airplane mode for a few seconds to force a network reconnect can help.

Login Fails or Account Won't Open

If the TF1+ login page returns an error or just spins without responding, start by clearing your browser cache and cookies, then try an incognito window. On mobile, delete the app's cached data in your device settings. Double-check that your email address and password have no extra spaces — password managers occasionally paste trailing characters. If you've forgotten your credentials, the password reset email sometimes lands in spam, so check there before requesting another one.

Payment Doesn't Go Through
  • Verify that your card supports online international transactions — some banks block streaming service charges by default
  • Check whether your billing address in the TF1+ account matches exactly what your bank has on file
  • Try a different browser or switch from the website to the mobile app
  • If you're using a virtual or prepaid card, note that some are rejected by the payment processor regardless of available balance
  • Contact your bank to confirm no security hold was placed on the transaction
App Freezes on Smart TV or Console

A frozen interface on connected devices is usually a memory issue. Close the app completely — not just minimize it — and relaunch. If that doesn't work, do a full power cycle of the device by unplugging it from the wall for thirty seconds. Outdated firmware on smart TVs is a frequent culprit: check the system update section and install anything pending. Reinstalling the app clears corrupted local data and often resolves persistent freezing.

Stream Quality Drops Mid-Playback

TF1+ adjusts video quality dynamically, but sometimes it gets stuck at a low resolution even when your connection improves. Pause playback for twenty to thirty seconds to let the buffer rebuild, then resume. If the quality stays poor, exit the player entirely and restart the stream from the beginning. On the website, disabling browser extensions — especially ad blockers and script managers — can stabilize the adaptive streaming engine.

Content Thumbnails or Images Won't Display

When show artwork, banners, or episode thumbnails fail to appear, the issue is usually a stale cache holding broken image references. On desktop, a hard refresh solves it in most cases. On mobile, clearing the app cache through device settings forces it to fetch fresh assets. A slow DNS resolution can also delay image loading — switching to a public DNS server like 1.1.1.1 in your network settings sometimes speeds things up noticeably.
